On Monday, March 9, 2015,  students Sean Kim, Peter Wu, Eileen Wu, Aaliyah Kaushal, Jason Kwong of 821, Joanne Kang, Harry Zhu, Bindu Koyi, Carine He of 721, and Nathan Kan of 723 participated in MoMathlon, a state-wide math competition hosted by the Museum of Math.  They were accompanied by Mrs. S. Mooney, Ms. Strong, and Ms. Mondelli.

It was very competitive and but exciting.  Our 8th grade team placed 2nd overall for teams and we had three kids place in the top 5 overall for individual scores (1st place Jason Kwong, 3rd Place Harry Zhu, and 5th place Sean Kim). Congratulations!
